Turn on two-factor authentication for your account

Last reviewed: October 4, 2026 Applies to: All services 2 min read

Protect your client area with a second sign-in step, using an authenticator app or a one-time code sent by email. Setup takes about two minutes.

Why turn it on

Two-factor authentication (2FA) means a stolen password alone is not enough to get into your account. At each sign-in you also enter a one-time code. Your client area controls your services, domains and invoices, so we strongly recommend it.

Choose a method

Method How you get the code Recommended for
Authenticator app An app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy Most users — the most secure option, and it works without internet on your phone
Email OTP A code sent to your account's email address at each sign-in Users who cannot install an app

Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app

  1. Sign in to the client area and open Security.
  2. Under Two-factor authentication, click Enable with Authenticator app.
  3. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code. If you cannot scan it, use Or enter this key manually.
  4. Type the code under Enter the 6-digit code from your app.
  5. Click Verify and enable 2FA.

From now on, after your password you will be asked for the current code from your app.

Turn on 2FA with Email OTP

  1. Open Security.
  2. Under Two-factor authentication, click Enable with Email OTP.

At each sign-in we will email you a code. Make sure your email account itself is well protected.

Switch or turn off 2FA

  • To change method, open Security and use Switch to Email OTP or Switch to Authenticator app.
  • To turn 2FA off, enter your current password under Confirm current password to disable, then click Disable 2FA.

Warning: If you lose the phone with your authenticator app, you will not be able to sign in. Contact support from your account's email address and we will help you verify your identity and regain access.
