IMAP and SMTP settings for Business Email, with steps for Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone and Android.

Your settings

Use the values in the Mail app settings section of your Business Email service page:

Setting Value
Username Your full email address, for example info@example.com
Password The mailbox password you chose
Incoming server (IMAP) The server shown on your service page · port 993 · SSL/TLS
Outgoing server (SMTP) The same server · port 465 · SSL/TLS (or port 587 · STARTTLS)
Outgoing authentication On — the same username and password

Tip: Choose IMAP, not POP3, so your email stays in sync on every device and in webmail.

Outlook (Windows and Mac)

  1. Go to File → Add account (Windows) or Settings → Accounts → + (Mac).
  2. Enter your email address. If Outlook finds the settings automatically, enter your password and finish.
  3. If it asks, choose IMAP and enter the servers, ports and encryption from the table above.

Apple Mail and iPhone / iPad

  1. Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account (on a Mac: Mail → Add Account → Other Mail Account).
  2. Enter your name, email address and password.
  3. Choose IMAP and enter the incoming and outgoing server from your service page for both host names.

Android (Gmail app)

  1. Open Gmail → your profile picture → Add another account → Other.
  2. Enter your email address, choose Personal (IMAP), and enter your password.
  3. Enter the incoming server (port 993, SSL/TLS) and the outgoing server (port 465, SSL/TLS), and keep Require sign-in on.
