Upgrade, renew or cancel a service

Last reviewed: October 4, 2026 Applies to: All services 2 min read

Change to a bigger or smaller plan, turn auto-renew on or off, renew early, or cancel a service — and how each change is billed.

Change your plan

Cloud VPS: sign in to the client area, open Services, select your server and click Upgrade/Downgrade Plan. Pick the new plan and confirm.

Other services: open a support ticket in the Billing department, choose the service as Related service, and tell us which plan you would like. We prepare the change and send you an invoice for any difference.

Change How it is billed When it takes effect
Upgrade A prorated amount for the rest of your current term Once the invoice is paid
Downgrade No charge today — your next bill is simply lower From your next renewal (Cloud VPS: within an hour of your request)

Cloud VPS: plan changes

  • The server restarts after any plan change.
  • Upgrades complete within about an hour of payment.
  • You can choose to keep your current disk size or also upgrade the disk. Upgrading the disk cannot be reversed — the server can never be downgraded afterwards. The price is the same either way, so keep the current disk size unless you need the space.

Renewals and auto-renew

Your service's Next due date and Auto-renew setting are shown under Service details.

  • With auto-renew on, a renewal invoice is created before the due date, and we email you reminders until it is paid. Pay it from Invoices as usual.
  • With auto-renew off, no renewal invoice is created, and the service ends with its current term.
  • Cloud VPS also has a Renew button at the top of the server's page, if you want to renew early.

Cancel a service

  1. Open the service and choose Cancel service.
  2. Select a Reason for Cancellation.
  3. Choose When should it end?
    • At the End of the Billing Period (recommended) — you keep the service until the time already paid for runs out;
    • Immediately — the service stops as soon as the cancellation is approved. The remaining paid time is not refunded.
  4. Submit the request. Our team confirms it before anything is removed, and the page shows Cancellation pending review.

Cancelling stops future renewals. Nothing is deleted on the day you ask.

Tip: If something is not working, talk to support first — most problems can be fixed without cancelling. If you are within your money-back period, see our Refund Policy.
