Find your APEX and Oracle Database versions

Check which Oracle APEX and Oracle Database versions your service runs, from the APEX interface or with a quick SQL query.

Current versions

APEX Shared hosting runs Oracle Database 26ai with Oracle APEX 26.1. We keep versions up to date and announce major upgrades in advance.

In APEX

1. Sign in to your workspace.
2. Open the Help menu (the question-mark icon at the top right) and choose About.

The page shows the APEX version and details of your environment.

With SQL

Run these in SQL Workshop → SQL Commands, or in SQL Developer.

APEX version:

SELECT version_no FROM apex_release;

Database version:

SELECT product, version_full
FROM   product_component_version;

Why it matters

• Importing applications: an export from a newer APEX version cannot be imported into an older one. Check the version on both sides first.
• New features: some APEX and database features are only available from a certain version.
• Support requests: include the versions when you report a problem — it helps us answer faster.
